Ba Dinh District Veterans Association implements many activities to support members

On the morning of May 20, the Veterans Association of Ba Dinh district held a mid-term review of the implementation of the Resolution of the 7th Congress (term 2022-2027) and work for the first 6 months of 2025.

In the first half of the 2022-2027 term, the Veterans Association at all levels in Ba Dinh district has performed well the tasks of participating in building and protecting the Party and the government, actively fighting to protect the Party's ideological foundation, and refuting erroneous and hostile views. Accompanying the Party committees and the government, the Association has contributed to solving difficult tasks and complicated issues, maintaining political security - order, social safety, and implementing grassroots democracy.

Notably, there were 27,104 sessions with 196,427 District Veterans Association members participating in patrolling, protecting, and working at checkpoints; providing 376 pieces of information on security and order; participating in mediating 268 cases; participating in resolving 78 cases of law violations...

The District Veterans Association has supported the repair and upgrading of houses for 16 member families with a total amount of over 320 million VND; helped 886 households borrow capital from the Social Policy Bank with a total amount of 73 billion VND; and at the same time created 1,197 jobs for members...

Chairman of the Veterans Association of Ba Dinh District Nguyen Minh Chau said that in the coming time, the Association will focus on propagating and mobilizing cadres and members to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the policies, resolutions, and projects of Party committees at all levels and the plans of the government; actively and exemplaryly participate in the activities of the Association and the locality. In particular, the Association will continue to proactively prepare all aspects to meet the requirements of the task of streamlining the apparatus, merging administrative boundaries, and organizing local governments at two levels.
