Le Ba Dang is passionate about pursuing and succeeding in drawing cats. The idea for the artist to draw cats is associated with the story from The Street of Cats Fishing in Paris. The cat drawings of artist Le Ba Dang are not just simple lines but have become a unique painting language, full of calligraphy; not simply images of animals but subtly conveying thoughts about objects and metaphysics, which is a sign of the philosophy of "being is not being" expressed by the author in the following works.

Besides cats, Le Ba Dang also painted horses. It can be said that horses are one of the main themes throughout his creative career. In addition to paintings, the artist also created horses using collage techniques, lithography, sculpture, etc. Le Ba Dang expressed his creativity through the use of diverse materials and techniques in prints; flexibly combining many types of materials, applying relief printing, lithography, and screen printing techniques to convey his artistic ideas. In his works, the image of the horse is very flexible, expressing the spirit of freedom and indomitability as the artist's intention: wanting to overcome limits and constraints to find absolute freedom in creation.
In 1985, Le Ba Dang created his first Espaces works. These were works on paper that combined many techniques of collage and superimposition, between sculpture and relief as a synthesis and transcendence of these two forms of expression. Le Ba Dang incorporated into his Espace works reliefs emphasized by watercolors so that they became lakes, mountains, deserts, rivers, wild and new lands, landscapes seen from above.
Along with that is a series of watercolor landscape paintings with perfect strokes and flexible and changing brushwork, he blends the woman's flesh into the scenery: study, bed, mountains, rivers, clouds, water, desert, geological strata, underground tunnels, everywhere you look you see her, she is naked in the landscape, she has melted into the landscape, she is the landscape. Therefore, nude landscape paintings are always a temptation for foxes.
