Conference of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations

On the morning of October 23, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations held a review of the first 9 months of the year and deployed the work plan for the fourth quarter of 2025. Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Nguyen Van Khoi attended.

The conference announced the decision of the Provincial People's Committee to allow the merger of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Ca Mau Province and the Union of Friendship Organizations of Bac Lieu Province into the Union of Friendship Organizations of Ca Mau Province (after the merger). Recognition and appointment of personnel of the Union of Friendship Organizations of the province. Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of the province.

Reporting at the conference, in the first 9 months of the year, the Standing Office of the Union has proactively and actively advised and organized the implementation of tasks to ensure quality and progress. Administrative, management and internal coordination work has been effectively implemented; in which, the outstanding activities are connecting and mobilizing foreign non- governmental aid projects; receiving and working with donors; starting, accepting and handing over projects in accordance with regulations.
The Union has coordinated and supported the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association to award scholarships to disadvantaged children under the Scholarship Program of The Corea Peace 3000 Organization.

Close coordination with partners has been maintained, contributing to improving the effectiveness of implementing foreign non-governmental programs and projects. 14 new foreign non-governmental projects have been received, with a total value of 47,272 billion VND. Domestic donors have been strongly mobilized to support the construction of 10 rural traffic bridges, with a total value of 4,285 billion VND.

The conference discussed and exchanged difficulties and problems as well as proposed solutions, directions of activities, and plans to implement the tasks of member associations effectively and qualitatively after the merger. In particular, focusing on implementing some key contents such as: Continuing to implement peace , solidarity, friendship and cooperation work with people and foreign non-governmental organizations; perfecting the apparatus and organizing the internal Union to ensure that activities take place smoothly, continuously and effectively in the coming time.
