1st Provincial Party Standing Committee Conference

On the morning of July 16, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held its first conference to give opinions on key tasks of socio-economic development and Party building in the last 6 months of 2025 and some other important contents.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang chaired the conference. Attending were alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that 2025 is the final year of the term, the year to organize Party congresses at all levels, the First Provincial Party Congress towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; at the same time, it is also the year to "finish" the implementation of the targets and objectives of the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021 - 2025. In that context, the spirit and results of today's conference will create the foundation and motivation for the entire political system of Quang Tri province to enter a new development stage with innovative thinking, a streamlined apparatus, and effective operation, for the benefit of the people.

In the first 6 months of the year, the province's economic sector continued to develop stably and grow quite well; agricultural, forestry and fishery production maintained growth momentum, in which forestry production increased sharply compared to the same period; industrial production developed stably; budget revenue increased quite well compared to the same period; tourism continued to grow rapidly; cultural, sports and tourism activities were rich and diverse; the investment environment was gradually improved; social security was ensured; the cultural and spiritual life of the people continued to be improved; political security, social order and safety were stable; national defense and security were maintained.
