In the third quarter of 2025, information, propaganda, press and publishing work in the Army will continue to closely follow the direction and orientation of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; promptly propagate domestic and international political events; holidays and anniversaries; activities of Party, State and Army leaders; military tasks, national defense, defense diplomacy...
Notably, the Army press has focused on promoting the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the 11th Military Emulation Congress, the 80th anniversary of the General Staff's traditional day... Maintaining the order and quality of the Party's resolution propaganda column; studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; closely following all aspects of combat readiness training, Party work, political work, logistics and technology of agencies and units of the entire army; promoting the activities of soldiers helping people prevent and fight natural disasters, rescue, and overcome the consequences of storms No. 9 and No. 10; communicating the content and spreading the influence of the film "Red Rain"...

Regarding publishing, agencies and units have published publications and organized exhibitions to serve major holidays, important congresses and conferences. The People's Army Publishing House and units have published 159 books, typically: "History of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army" (4 volumes), "President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh". The Army Library has published 114 books (73,683 copies) to serve political tasks and the needs of officers and soldiers of the entire army.
At the conference, delegates from functional agencies and press agencies exchanged and discussed a number of issues, aiming to continue improving the quality of press and publishing activities in the coming time.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Major General Nguyen Xuan Thuy highly appreciated the results of information, propaganda, press and publishing work in the entire army in recent times; at the same time, he requested news agencies, press, printing and publishing in the entire army to continue to coordinate closely, closely following outstanding events: Central, Government and National Assembly meetings, activities of key leaders of the Party and State; important events of the Army, focusing on the Central Military Commission Conference, the Military-Political Conference of the entire army, the Sports Festival of the entire army...
The Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department noted that it is necessary to organize well the summary of press and publishing work in 2025 at all levels; the People's Army Newspaper and the Military Radio and Television Center proactively organize the summary of competitions, organize events and communication programs to ensure they are on schedule and of good quality.
