Taking place over 2 days, December 12 and 13, the Conference aims to summarize the activities of the Association in 2024, discuss the plan to implement the tasks of the Association in 2025; conduct a mid-term review of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress; Summarize the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Party Central Committee (12th tenure) on a number of issues on continuing to innovate, reorganize and streamline the political system, and operate effectively and efficiently of the Vietnam Women's Union; Take a vote of confidence for the leaders of the Vietnam Women's Union; Personnel work, emulation and reward work and discuss a number of contents under the authority of the Central Executive Committee of the Union.
In her opening speech, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen said that 2024 is the year of mid-term assessment of the implementation of the 13th National Women's Congress, Women's Unions at all levels. Through the assessment, the leadership, direction and operation work has been innovated and adapted to the actual situation; the Union organization has been consolidated, developed, and expanded in solidarity; the inspection and supervision work has been seriously implemented by the Unions at all levels; the main targets have been basically achieved by the Unions at all levels...
Regarding the implementation of the 2024 plan, the theme of the year "Enhancing the application of information technology in organizing Association activities" associated with the breakthrough "Innovating the Association's operation methods, focusing on the application of information technology" is implemented with many creative and effective solutions.

After nearly 3 years of implementation, the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era" has been widely deployed by the Women's Union at all levels across the country, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere. The Union has organized many large-scale activities such as the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory "Women of the whole country turn to Dien Bien"; "Ao Dai Week"; the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union and Vietnamese Women's Day...
The Associations at all levels have focused on mobilizing resources to carry out many meaningful activities: Mobilizing relief, giving gifts, and supporting people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (Yagi) with a total value of more than 62 billion VND; Mobilizing the construction of more than 2,600 shelters; The "Godmother" program has so far sponsored more than 31,000 orphans with a total amount of money/gifts worth more than 170 billion VND... The Associations at all levels have helped over 87,000 households escape poverty and near-poverty... The work of providing comments and social criticism on legal documents, especially issues related to women, children, and gender equality, has been increasingly carried out scientifically and effectively.
In particular, implementing the direction of the Politburo and General Secretary To Lam on the policy of entering a new era - the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise, the Central Presidium of the Association has urgently, resolutely, and seriously deployed the summary of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee; completed the draft project to reorganize the apparatus of the Central Committee of the Association in the direction of streamlining, efficiency, innovation, and creativity.../.
