On December 14, the Radio and Electronics Association of Vietnam (REV) in collaboration with Phenikaa University organized the "27th National Conference on Electronics, Communications and Information Technology, REV-ECIT 2024".

The conference was sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications , with the theme “Development of semiconductor industry and artificial intelligence”. The event attracted nearly 300 scientists from 61 universities, research institutes and scientific organizations nationwide.
The REV-ECIT 2024 Conference received 159 scientific works from researchers and experts. After a rigorous review process with the participation of more than 358 reviewers, the Organizing Committee accepted 128 representative works, accounting for 80% of the total proposals, to be presented and published in the Conference Proceedings. These works reflect the diversity and richness in the fields of electronics, communications and information technology.
The main theme of the conference, “Development of the semiconductor industry and artificial intelligence”, is considered one of the important pillars in Vietnam’s strategy for developing cutting-edge technology. The semiconductor industry not only plays a key role in promoting technology fields such as consumer electronics and smart cars, but also has a profound impact on other fields such as healthcare, education and agriculture .
The REV-ECIT 2024 conference included many thematic sessions, including a special session focusing on the development of the semiconductor industry and artificial intelligence. Scientists shared in-depth analysis and important development strategies for cutting-edge technology fields. Recommendations from the conference will contribute to shaping policies and directions for the semiconductor industry in Vietnam in the context of globalization and the 4.0 industrial revolution.
The REV-ECIT 2024 National Conference is not only an important forum for scientists and experts to meet and exchange experiences, but also an opportunity to affirm Vietnam's position in the high-tech field. This event has opened up many new directions for the development of the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industry, contributing to the overall development of the information technology and communications industry in Vietnam.
