The 28th Conference of Party Newspapers of Northern Provinces and Cities in Vinh Phuc

Attending the workshop were comrade Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; representatives of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association , central press agencies; representatives of the 25 Party Newspapers of the Northern provinces and cities and some Central and Central Highlands provinces.

In her opening speech at the workshop, Editor-in-Chief of Vinh Phuc Newspaper Hoang Thi Nhung emphasized: New rural construction is an important National Target Program of the Party in the spirit of Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (10th tenure) dated August 5, 2008 on agriculture , farmers and rural areas. To concretize the Resolution, the program is built with a specific set of criteria, with goals and steps for each stage clearly defined, scientifically, and closely following the practical situation.

After more than 12 years, the new rural construction program has achieved "enormous, comprehensive and historic" results. Our country's rural areas have had clear changes in almost all areas, promoting the modernization of agriculture and rural areas, improving farmers' lives, and making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the whole country.

The improvement of rural areas and agriculture across the country, especially in the Northern region after more than 12 years of implementing the new rural construction program, is the result of the efforts in leadership, direction and management of Party committees and authorities from the provincial to grassroots levels; demonstrating the solidarity, unanimity, consensus and determination of the entire political system and all classes of people. In particular, there is an important role, especially the accompaniment of press agencies in general, local Party press agencies in particular. In the journey of building new rural areas, Party press agencies across the country and the Northern region have played a good role in pioneering the implementation of the Party's guidelines, State and local policies on the new rural construction program into life, promoting effectiveness and efficiency; at the same time, strongly encouraging all levels, sectors, mass organizations, business communities and people to join hands and unite in building new rural areas.

At the workshop, delegates discussed and exchanged contents to promote the important role of press agencies in general, local Party press agencies in particular in building new rural areas. At the same time, they shared, exchanged and discussed good experiences, creative and effective ways of doing things of the units, thereby applying and implementing them in directing and organizing propaganda more effectively in the following areas: Leadership experience, direction of Party committees and authorities; participation of the political system; creation of support mechanisms and policies; experience in mobilizing resources from the people; economic restructuring, increasing people's income; solutions to protect the environment, building bright - green - clean - beautiful villages, communes and residential groups; smart new rural areas...

Comrade Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, emphasized: Local Party newspapers have reflected the atmosphere of joining hands to build the countryside, providing readers with a vivid, panoramic view in many fields, in many localities and establishments; reflecting the exciting, meaningful atmosphere and positive, widespread influence, demonstrating the determination of the Party and State in implementing the National Target Program on new rural construction, contributing to creating profound changes in awareness, awakening potential, efforts to overcome difficulties; strongly encouraging all levels, sectors, mass organizations and society to join hands and unite in the work of building new rural areas. Comrade Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department suggested: Local Party newspapers continue to promote propaganda to bring the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels into life; Proactively and actively innovate propaganda content and forms, apply new and modern communication methods, keep up with digital transformation trends; actively discover and have appropriate and attractive propaganda methods, spread new models, creative and effective ways in new rural construction...
