On the morning of March 1, the Provincial People's Committee held a workshop to provide comments on the Draft 5-year Land Use Plan (2021-2025) of Dak Lak province. The land use plan for the period 2021-2025 of Dak Lak province is built on the basis of guidance from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment ; at the same time, it closely follows the socio-economic development goals and orientations for the period 2021-2025 of the province, national land use planning and plans; land allocation and zoning plans in the planning of Dak Lak province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; the medium-term public investment plan for 2021-2025 of the province and the land use needs of sectors and localities. On the other hand, the Plan must ensure that it fully and reasonably meets the land needs for the development of socio-economic sectors, maintains national defense - security and protects the environment; at the same time, it must also ensure feasibility, suitability with local investment resources as well as the ability to attract investment capital.
The representative of the consulting unit introduced the main content of the 5-year Land Use Plan (2021-2025) of Dak Lak province.
The Draft 5-year Land Use Plan (2021-2025) of Dak Lak province has updated the List of works and projects in the province from 2021 to 2025 with a total of 1,428 main works and projects, such as: Industrial Park Land: there are 02 works, the area by 2025 is 441 hectares to expand Hoa Phu Industrial Park and build Phu Xuan Industrial Park (Cu Mgar district); Land for Construction of National Reserve Warehouse: there is 01 work, the area by 2025 is 05 hectares in Buon Ma Thuot city; Commercial Service land: there are 118 works, the area by 2025 is 627 hectares in Buon Ma Thuot city; Traffic land, with 213 projects, the area by 2025 is 26,220 hectares (Construction of Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway, Truong Son Dong road, Ho Chi Minh road, the eastern bypass section of Buon Ma Thuot city, renovation - upgrading of inter-district roads,...); rural residential land, the area by 2025 is 12,437 hectares; urban residential land, the area by 2025 is 4,327 hectares;...
At the Workshop, experts, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Departments, branches and sectors, and the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities gave many comments and additions to the Draft.

Concluding the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the 5-year land use plan (2021-2025) of Dak Lak province is very important in the State management of land. Therefore, it is recommended that departments, branches and sectors of the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities continue to review the List of works and projects in the Draft 5-year land use plan (2021-2025) of Dak Lak province, supplement the list of projects or remove the list of works and projects from the 5-year land use plan (2021-2025) of Dak Lak province to ensure feasibility during implementation; The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities proactively review the Provincial Planning and the District-level Land Use Planning to 2030; Prepare a dossier to propose adjusting the Land Use Plan to 2030 at the district level for land used for mineral activities, land for common construction materials, and waste land for key projects and works; request the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Consulting Unit to receive, edit, supplement, and urgently complete the dossier of the Draft Land Use Plan for 5 years (2021-2025) of Dak Lak province and submit it for appraisal and approval in accordance with regulations.
