Scientific workshop "The role of political schools in summarizing practices and advising on local policies"

On November 10, the Provincial Political School coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials to organize a scientific workshop on “The role of political schools in summarizing practices and providing policy advice at the local level”. Comrades: Tran Minh Nam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department; Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee attended.

Speaking at the workshop, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department emphasized that organizing the workshop was very appropriate and meaningful, an opportunity for agencies and units to coordinate and review a process with achieved results, clarify issues, summarize experiences to have appropriate orientations and solutions, contributing to promoting research work to propose innovative solutions, improving the effectiveness of summarizing practices, policy consulting of political schools, thereby improving the scientific research and teaching capacity of civil servants, improving the quality of training and fostering of political schools, contributing to consulting for local Party committees and authorities in policy making, building a political system at the local level, and operating effectively and efficiently.

At the workshop, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported on the discussion "The role of the Provincial Political School in summarizing practices and providing policy advice at the local level"; delegates, scientists, officials and lecturers participating in the workshop presented the discussions: "Research activities on practical implementation of the Party and State's guidelines and policies - Current situation and trends of the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials", "The role of the teaching staff of Ninh Thuan Provincial Political School in summarizing practices, providing policy and legal advice at the local level and issues raised"...

Within the framework of the workshop, delegates also studied, exchanged information, discussed the role, significance, responsibility, assessed the current situation and proposed specific and practical directions and solutions to improve the effectiveness of summarizing practices and providing policy advice at the local level of political schools in the coming time.
