On December 24, at the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Hall, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department organized a scientific workshop on Applying the innovation viewpoint of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh in the construction and development of Hung Yen province. In his report to introduce the workshop, comrade Dao Hong Van, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, highlighted: Hung Yen is a land rich in cultural and revolutionary traditions; the people are industrious and creative in production and labor, brave and resilient in the fight against foreign invaders. This place has given birth to many outstanding talents, who have contributed to the country and the nation in many fields, especially in politics, military and culture. Among them, the late General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh - an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, who played a pioneering role; and made great contributions to the cause of national renewal...
The renovation process proposed and persistently implemented by Comrade Nguyen Van Linh and the Party Central Committee has achieved important results, creating a new vitality in society; laying a solid foundation in both theoretical thinking and practical values, initiating the cause of comprehensive renovation of the country. Today, after nearly 40 years, Vietnam's foundation, potential, position and international prestige have been increasingly enhanced and firmly affirmed in the international arena; preparing to bring the country firmly into a new era.
During his revolutionary career, despite being busy with many national affairs, comrade Nguyen Van Linh always turned to his hometown Hung Yen with deep affection and concern. With the pride of being the hometown of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, from a province with an extremely difficult physical and technical infrastructure system, after nearly 30 years of re-establishment and development, Hung Yen province has achieved many outstanding and comprehensive results in all fields, becoming a fairly well-off province in the country; the political system has been firmly consolidated, the material and spiritual life of the people has been significantly improved.
Under the direction of the workshop chairmen, researchers and managers presented their opinions to clarify the innovation viewpoint of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh in the construction and development of Hung Yen province. Associate Professor, Dr. Ly Viet Quang, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Institute and Party leaders presented their opinions on "The great contributions of Comrade Nguyen Van Linh to the cause of national innovation"; Head of the Management Board of Nhan Dan Newspaper's resident reporter Ta Quang Dung presented his opinions on "The core values of "Things to do immediately" by General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh with the pen name NVL in Nhan Dan Newspaper"; Comrade Dao Thi Hoan, Institute of Party History, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics presented her opinions on "Hung Yen implements the goal of sustainable poverty reduction in the new era"; Comrade Tran Tung Chuan, Secretary of Yen My District Party Committee, presented a speech on “Promoting the tradition of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh’s hometown, Yen My district strives to build and develop into an industrial, modern, civilized urban area”… In addition, many other valuable reports were presented and sent to the conference.
In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Comrade Dao Hong Van, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, affirmed that the scientific workshop had completed the program contents according to the plan. The reports continued to affirm and deepen the merits and great contributions of Comrade Nguyen Van Linh to the country's renovation. Analyzed and clarified the inheritance, creative, flexible and effective application of the renovation viewpoints of Comrade Nguyen Van Linh and our Party at all levels of Party committees, Party organizations, levels and sectors in the province; thereby contributing to creating outstanding achievements in the fields of socio-economics, national defense, security, foreign affairs, Party building and the political system of Hung Yen province after nearly 30 years of re-establishment.
Based on the results of the workshop, comrade Dao Hong Van suggested that party organizations, departments, branches and localities continue to coordinate and promote propaganda and education work so that comrade Nguyen Van Linh's innovative viewpoints continue to be spread, applied and developed more deeply, especially in the context of implementing the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus of the current political system. From there, contributing to the early realization of the goals of building a rich and civilized Hung Yen province as comrade Nguyen Van Linh wished during his lifetime.
