On the morning of January 20, Yen Khanh District Party Committee organized a workshop on the history of the district Party Committee, period 1945 - 2020.
Attending the event were comrade Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; representatives of Hanoi Pedagogical University I; the Institute of Vietnamese History and Culture Studies; experts and historical researchers of the province; and district leaders of different periods.
In order to preserve the historical values and glorious revolutionary traditions of the Party Committee and People of Yen Khanh district; to implement Directive No. 20-CT/TW dated January 18, 2018 of the Central Party Secretariat on Continuing to strengthen and improve the quality of research, compilation, propaganda andeducation of Party history, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has directed the compilation and publication of the book "History of the Yen Khanh District Party Committee, period 1945-2020".
The content of the book is the inheritance and continuation of the book History of Yen Khanh District Party Committee (period 1945-2000) which was compiled and published previously and was edited, supplemented, and newly written from 2001 to 2020.
With a capacity of over 540 pages, the book History of Yen Khanh District Party Committee, period 1945-2020 is structured including: Preface, 7 chapters of content, conclusion, appendix and many illustrations.
The book systematically presents the policies, solutions, and flexible and creative decisions of the Yen Khanh District Party Committee over the past 75 years; highlights achievements in the fields of economy, culture, society, national defense, security, Party building and the political system; and draws lessons for the leadership and direction of political tasks in the coming years.
At the Workshop, opinions highly appreciated the scientific, serious, careful and open-minded working spirit of the Steering Committee and the Editorial Board; evaluated the manuscript of the book History of the Party Committee of Yen Khanh District as a scientific work that was seriously and elaborately researched and compiled; the structure of the chapters and sections is relatively reasonable; the source of historical documents of the Party Committee is relatively rich and reliable; the basic research method is reasonable, mainly historical and logical; the writing style is coherent, meeting the requirements of a historical work of the Party Committee at the district level...
The opinions of scientists and former leaders of the district have clarified some key contents in the leadership of the Yen Khanh District Party Committee over the past 75 years of establishment and development; valuable lessons learned from the practical leadership in implementing political tasks; outstanding achievements in socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building new rural areas and advanced new rural areas in the district. In addition, some historical events, comments and assessments have also been added; some contents that need to be analyzed and evaluated to highlight the highlights and turning-point policies of the Party Committee in the period of 1945 - 2020; comments on the arrangement of illustrations, use of language, layout arrangement, etc.
Through the Workshop, the Steering Committee and the Editorial Board will verify, continue to supplement and complete the manuscript of the book History of the Yen Khanh District Party Committee, period 1945 - 2020 before printing and publishing.
The published work will have important significance in the political and ideological work of the Yen Khanh District Party Committee, and is a valuable document serving the work of educating revolutionary traditions, educating national pride and self-respect, and love for the homeland and country for cadres, party members and Yen Khanh people, serving the cause of building an increasingly rich and civilized homeland.
This is also one of the projects and products selected by Yen Khanh district to direct the completion, practically celebrating the 30th anniversary of the district's re-establishment (1994 - 2024) and welcoming the district to achieve the Advanced New Rural Standard.
