Workshop to raise awareness about community tourism

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Giang Thi Hoa spoke at the Workshop.

At the workshop, delegates listened to representatives of the Provincial Tourism Promotion Information Center share and discuss the contents of distinguishing tourism, community tourism and homestay; the importance of human resources for tourism; identifying resources, strengths, advantages of districts, communes, villages to do community tourism; decisive factors for success in community tourism. Delegates also listened to travel and tourism companies share their views, expectations, and possibilities of connecting with community tourism products; homestay owners shared their challenges and difficulties of homestays... To concretize the knowledge exchanged at the workshop, delegates also divided into groups to build suitable tourism products, promoting the potential and strengths of their communities and localities.

Representatives of tourism households in Tua Chua introduced the district's tourism products.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Giang Thi Hoa said that the development of community tourism in our province currently has a lot of potential, but the current problem is whether or not to unleash that potential. Affirming that the role of homestay households is very important and the initial starting point also had difficulties, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said that community tourism has a certain foundation. From those foundations, households can break through, turn determination into action, turn into advantages, and their potential into real products.
