On the morning of August 19, at the Hoa Lu District Culture, Sports and Broadcasting Center, the Provincial Council for Legal Dissemination andEducation organized the 4th Provincial Excellent Mediator Competition in 2023.
Attending and directing the contest were comrades: Le Ve Quoc, Director of the Department of Legal Dissemination and Education ( Ministry of Justice ); Nguyen Cao Son, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Minh Thuong, Director of the Department of Justice, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Council for Legal Dissemination and Education.
The contest was attended by 24 contestants who were excellent mediators, representing more than 10,000 grassroots mediators from 8 districts and cities in the province. The contestants went through 3 rounds, including: Greeting round, knowledge round and skit round.
In the greeting contest, through forms such as storytelling, poetry, folk songs, etc., the teams demonstrated the characteristics of social culture, customs, practices, geographical conditions, politics , economy and legal life that affect mediation work and the contributions of mediation work in their localities and units.
In the knowledge test, the candidates skillfully and appropriately applied their legal knowledge, good customs and practices, experience and mediation skills to resolve the conflicting situations and disputes raised by the organizers in a reasonable and convincing manner.
In particular, in the skit competition, the teams had many good and attractive skits, clearly depicting the thoughts and feelings of those working in mediation at the grassroots level. The skits not only conveyed the contents and regulations of the law in social life but also deeply conveyed the culture, village sentiment, neighborhood sentiment, and family ethics.
Through the contest, we honor those who work as mediators at the grassroots level; mediators with enthusiasm and passion, for the peace of the village, have silently "resolved" small conflicts and disputes in the community every day.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Kim Son district team; 2 second prizes to the Nho Quan district team and Ninh Binh city team; 2 third prizes to the Yen Mo and Yen Khanh teams and consolation prizes to the Hoa Lu, Gia Vien and Tam Diep city teams; in addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the team with the most impressive introduction to the Ninh Binh city team, the team with the best skit to the Kim Son district team.
After the Competition, the Organizing Committee will select teams and individuals with outstanding achievements to participate in the cluster and national mediator competition.
