According to the enrollment plan, the virtual filtering of university admission wishes in 2023 will take place in 9 days. The Ministry of Education and Training will run a virtual filtering system for all admission methods, processing admission wishes on the common system to determine the highest wish among the wishes that the candidate is eligible to be admitted.

The virtual filtering of candidates' admission wishes will be done 6 times on the system and will end on the afternoon of August 20.

After that, the Ministry of Education and Training will return the results of the virtual filtering of university admission wishes in 2023 to the schools to arrange, balance and prepare for the announcement of the benchmark scores before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

For candidates who are admitted directly according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training from July 5 to 5:00 p.m. on August 15, candidates confirm their enrollment on the system.

The Ministry of Education and Training has also requested that universities not require candidates to enroll before August 22, even for training programs in cooperation with foreign countries. At the same time, they are not allowed to finish confirming admission or ending enrollment before 5:00 p.m. on September 6 (even for training programs in cooperation with foreign countries).

According to data released by the Ministry of Education and Training, by the end of the first round of admission registration, a total of more than 660,000 candidates had completed entering their wishes into the system. This year, the percentage of candidates registering for university admission was 66% of the total number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam, an increase of about 2% compared to last year - 64.07%.

The total number of wishes registered by candidates is more than 3.4 million, on average each candidate registers more than 5 wishes for the first round of university admission. This year, about 292,000 students did not register for the first round of university admission this year.
