The event was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City and the Yoga Federation of Binh Duong province.
This is the third consecutive year the event has been held on a province-wide scale with the participation of more than 1,000 trainers, instructors, and members from 40 businesses and Yoga Clubs in the area.
In 2014, the United Nations General Assembly chose June 21 every year as International Yoga Day with the aim of honoring the benefits of Yoga for human health, encouraging Yoga practice worldwide to prevent disease and help unite the community.
The 11th International Yoga Day, with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, continues to affirm the role of Yoga in improving public health and promoting cultural exchange between Vietnam and India.
This event is also an opportunity for people in Binh Duong and neighboring provinces to exchange, learn and experience Yoga exercises, while raising awareness of the benefits of physical exercise in modern life.
The 11th International Yoga Day 2025 in Binh Duong is a practical activity, contributing to strengthening and consolidating the cooperative and friendly relationship between Binh Duong province and the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City in particular, as well as between the people of Vietnam and India in general.
At the same time, the event also contributes to effectively implementing the province's cultural diplomacy strategy, creating conditions for Binh Duong people to better understand the cultures of countries around the world.
This is also a useful playground, contributing to connecting members of the Center, Yoga Club and the community of Yoga lovers in and outside Binh Duong province.
