More than 10,000 Lai Chau people participated in the event to move forward with Vietnam

On the morning of August 16, along with the whole country, more than 10,000 leaders, armed forces, departments, socio-political organizations and people of Lai Chau province participated in the event "Moving Forward with Vietnam".

The event took place simultaneously at Lai Chau People's Square and 35/38 communes and wards of the province. Although it rained throughout the event, more than 3,000 people still participated in the event in the provincial center; in 35 communes and wards, each commune had an average of 200 people participating.

Participating in the event, delegates and people were able to watch the National Flag Raising Ceremony at Ba Dinh Square online. Delegates and people also directly performed the flag-raising ceremony, sang the national anthem and watched a video introducing the overall activity "Moving Forward with Vietnam".

The event was solemnly held by Lai Chau under the sky.

The event "Moving Forward with Vietnam" was organized by Lai Chau to promote the spirit of solidarity and development aspirations of Lai Chau, and together with the whole country, enter the era of national advancement.

At the same time, it spreads the belief, pride and will to rise of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Lai Chau. This is a practical activity of Lai Chau to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security.

Through the event's activities, in response to the movement of the whole people participating in sports following the example of the great Uncle Ho and the movement "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland", thereby building the habit of walking among people with the goal of each step being a "green step", Lai Chau contributes to the whole country to reduce carbon emissions, raise awareness of environmental protection and move towards the national Net Zero goal.

In the center of Lai Chau province, more than 3,000 people from all walks of life participated in the event.

In addition, through the activities of the event, it aims to contribute to consolidating and further strengthening the close bond between the People's Public Security soldiers and the People; joining hands to carry out the task of maintaining security and order in the new development stage of Lai Chau in particular and the country in general.
