Khanh Hoa: Successful surgery for 15-day-old patient with congenital intestinal obstruction

On August 16, a representative of the Ninh Thuan General Hospital (Khanh Hoa province) said that the unit had coordinated with Children's Hospital 2 (Ho Chi Minh City) to successfully perform surgery on a 15-day-old patient with congenital intestinal obstruction.

Previously, through screening examinations for pediatric patients with surgical diseases being monitored at Ninh Thuan General Hospital, the team of doctors from the two hospitals accurately diagnosed and performed surgery for 5 pediatric patients with the following diseases: congenital megacolon, anal malformation, neonatal intestinal obstruction, pancreatic pseudocyst, vestibular fistula. Among them, there was patient Hoang Ngoc Lam Phong, in Cam Hiep commune ( Khanh Hoa ), only 15 days old, with congenital intestinal obstruction.
