That was the affirmation of Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi at the press conference announcing the DANAFF III program in 2025 organized by the Vietnam Association for Cinema Promotion and Development in coordination with the City People's Committee in Hanoi on the afternoon of June 3.

According to the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, DANAFF is a vivid demonstration of the continuous efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang in bringing cinema, art and culture into deep integration with the region and the world .
After two successful events in 2023 and 2024, DANAFF has left beautiful impressions in the hearts of cinema lovers as well as professional staff.
The event is not only an artistic playground, but also a cultural bridge between Vietnam and Asian countries and the world. Through it, we together honor the values of humanistic cinema, innovation and diverse identity.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee affirmed that the Da Nang City government will create the best conditions in terms of facilities, infrastructure, logistics, as well as accompanying activities, so that DANAFF III can take place successfully, safely and widely.
“We hope that through this event, the image of Da Nang - a young, dynamic, friendly city with great potential for developing cultural industry, will be widely introduced to international friends,” the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee expressed.

With the slogan “DANAFF - Asia Bridge”, DANAFF III is held in Da Nang from June 29 to July 5, with many new and attractive activities such as: film project market, exhibition of scenes filmed in Da Nang”, Korean cinema spotlight…
Not only did the duration increase from 5 to 7 days compared to the previous two times, this event was also organized on a larger scale, with over 100 films selected for screening programs (DANAFF I had 46 films, DANAFF II had 63 films) and about 200 film screenings to serve the people and tourists.
Notably, the content of this year’s event includes the “Asian Cinema Panorama” program - a selection of outstanding and successful Asian cinema works at international film festivals in the past year, along with films selected by DANAFF for their premiere. This year also marks the appearance of the “Asian Film Critics Award” in the “Asian Cinema Panorama” program.
A new development at DANAFF III is the “Project Market” which was organized for the first time, with two main categories: Asian art film projects and Vietnamese film projects of various genres, which have been receiving a lot of attention from domestic and international filmmakers.
In addition, DANAFF III continues to maintain the workshop on Nurturing Acting Talents with two training classes - basic and advanced, as in previous seasons. At the same time, it organizes seminars and talks for experts to exchange and give advice on developing the film industry in the context of integration.
