TTH.VN - After nearly 10 days, the first Co Tu Traditional Sculpture Creation Camp in 2023 organized by the People's Committee of Nam Dong district closed on July 29. Many excellent works were awarded by the organizers.
Attending the closing ceremony was Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho.
Although it was organized for the first time, the Co Tu Traditional Sculpture Creation Camp attracted nearly 40 authors, sculptors and artisans from inside and outside the province to participate.
With their talent and passion, the artists created 143 works. The main themes revolved around the life, people, architecture, traditional festivals... of the Co Tu ethnic group.
The authors will be guaranteed intellectual property rights according to regulations, and the District People's Committee will protect the copyright of the works they create. On this occasion, the organizing committee also awarded prizes to the artisans with excellent works.
According to the organizers, this sculpture camp aims to raise public awareness of preserving cultural traditions, while providing viewers with the most authentic experiences and impressive emotions when directly interacting and interacting with the artisans. In addition, the camp also helps people understand and gain more knowledge about the value of the traditional cultural heritage of the Co Tu people through performance techniques and works created by the artisans.
