The Sports Festival is an annual activity, held in rotation between Journalists Associations in the region, to create a healthy and useful playground for journalists - the vanguard soldiers on the ideological and cultural front. This is also an opportunity to enhance exchanges, solidarity and unity between press agencies, members, reporters and editors in and outside the region.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Permanent Vice President of Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association Tran Quoc Anh said: The sports festival is held on the occasion of many important historical milestones of the country: 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), 135 years of the birth of the great President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). This is a great source of encouragement, a driving force for each journalist to constantly strive, practice political qualities, professional capacity, serving the cause of Vietnam's revolutionary press to become increasingly clean, strong and modern.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the athletes gave the audience exciting, attractive and dramatic competitions.
