More than 30% of export enterprises forecast an increase in orders.

(QNgTV) - Despite the US reciprocal tax policy that will be applied to Vietnam's exports, in the third quarter, 30.8% of businesses expected an increase in the number of new export orders, 51% of businesses expected stability, and 18.2% of businesses expected a decrease.

According to a survey by the General Statistics Office, more than 30% of businesses expect to increase the number of new export orders in the third quarter of this year, despite barriers still arising from import tax policies of various countries.

Statistics also show that 81% of foreign direct investment enterprises forecast that the production and business situation in the third quarter will be better and remain stable compared to the second quarter. This rate in the non-state enterprise sector and the state enterprise sector is over 80% and 79%, respectively.

The coming months are an important period for production growth to prepare for consumer demand for major holidays in the US and Europe. However, according to the General Statistics Office, in the context of the world economic and political situation continuing to develop complicatedly, ministries, branches and units need to proactively and flexibly manage, adapt to the new situation, and promptly respond to emerging situations to be able to achieve growth targets.

In the country, the transition to a two-tier local government model, cutting down on intermediary levels and administrative procedures, will help businesses be more proactive in planning production and business. At the same time, the fight against counterfeit and fake goods will help businesses boost production.
