Tomorrow morning, August 16, from 6:00 to 7:30 a.m., in 34 provinces and cities with 3,321 communes, wards, and administrative zones across the country, millions of people will turn to Ba Dinh Square, attend the National Flag Raising Ceremony, sing the National Anthem, and join the walking journey "Moving Forward with Vietnam".

The national walking program "Moving Forward with Vietnam", taking place from July 25 to August 16, 2025, is a large-scale community event, organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security nationwide, with the message "1 billion steps into the new era".

In Lam Dong province, the central bridge point is located at Lam Vien Square, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, where the National Flag Raising Ceremony will be broadcast live from President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
After the solemn ceremony, from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m., a large number of cadres, soldiers, students and people will participate in the walking program around Xuan Huong Lake in an exciting and united atmosphere.
The whole province mobilized more than 35,000 people to participate; of which, about 5,000 people at the provincial bridge point and from 300-500 people in each commune and ward.
Especially at Lam Dong bridge, Lam Dong Provincial Police will present 5,000 red flag shirts with yellow stars to participants at the provincial bridge, contributing to creating a brilliant "red sea", expressing national pride.
The event in Lam Dong promises to attract a large number of people, from students, youth to officials and civil servants, spreading the spirit of solidarity and patriotism.

Responding to the National Flag Raising Ceremony on the morning of August 16 at Lam Vien Square

The launching ceremony is a call for people to actively participate, register online and walk every day, contributing to the goal of "1 billion steps towards a new era" - a symbol of patriotism, healthy lifestyle and commitment to reducing carbon emissions, towards the National Net Zero goal.
Lam Dong will broadcast the Flag Raising Ceremony from President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and connect online to 124 administrative units, including 103 communes, 20 wards and 1 town in the special administrative zone, creating a synchronous atmosphere that spreads throughout the province.
