This is the first time the Department of Education and Training has directed high schools and continuing education centers to organize a mock high school graduation exam, as this is the first graduation exam organized under the new 2018 General Education Program, replacing the old 2006 General Education Program.
Although it is a mock exam, the exam process is directed by the Department of Education and Training for high schools and continuing education centers to be implemented similar to a real exam.

Each examination room has 24 candidates, 2 invigilators, and invigilators outside the examination room corridor. The Department of Education and Training also organizes for its specialized departments to inspect the organization of mock exams at schools.
The order and time of the exams, the process of marking registration numbers, calling candidates into the exam room, distributing exam papers and scratch paper, recording exam paper information, and collecting exam papers are all the same as the official exam process.
To help candidates gradually get used to exam discipline, schools have arranged a separate area for storing personal belongings outside the exam room. At the same time, no candidates are allowed to bring broadcasting devices, such as phones, tablets, or smart watches, into the exam room.
Not only does it help 12th grade students get acquainted with the atmosphere of the 2025 high school graduation exam early, high schools and continuing education centers also consider this mock high school graduation exam as a rehearsal for teachers to prepare for their duties in the official high school graduation exam.
