Over 400 million VND to support flood victims in Quy Chau on the first day of appeal

Up to now, Quy Chau district has had 1,210 houses flooded from 1 to 5 meters deep; over 5,000 people had to evacuate; 3 communes and 6 villages were completely isolated, 7 schools were deeply submerged in water, many rice and crop areas were deeply submerged, more than a thousand livestock and poultry were swept away...

Thousands of households have been forced to live in temporary conditions, hungry and cold because their properties and houses have collapsed, been swept away and flooded. The people of Quy Chau are in dire need of attention, sharing and support from organizations, individuals and the whole society.

On September 29 - the first day the Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Chau district issued an appeal to "Support the people of Quy Chau district to overcome landslides and natural disasters", many organizations and individuals were present in Quy Chau to support and assist people in flood-affected areas with over 400 million VND, along with many other items such as instant noodles, filtered water, medicine... worth over 90 million VND.

The leader of the People's Committee of Quy Chau district said: All the above support sources will be implemented publicly, for the right purpose, and to the right subjects to promptly help people affected by floods.

For now, all artifacts and necessities have been distributed by the Relief Mobilization Committee of Quy Chau district to flood-affected localities such as Chau Thang commune, Chau Binh commune, Tan Lac town...
