Accordingly, from November 7 to early morning of November 11, Nha Trang Railway Transport Branch signed a contract with a number of transport enterprises to use high-quality passenger cars to carry out the transfer service of 5,230 passengers on the Thong Nhat train from Tuy Hoa station ( Dak Lak ) to Dieu Tri station (Gia Lai) and vice versa. Throughout the transfer process on the road route of more than 100km, the safety of passengers and luggage was ensured, without any incidents or errors.

As reported by CAND Newspaper, due to the impact of storm Kalmaegi and floods, the railway bed at km 1136+850 in the Van Canh - Phuoc Lanh section collapsed a 90m long section with a depth of about 9m, the rails and iron sleepers were hanging in the air, so the railway through this locality has been blocked since the night of November 6.

Nearly 300 workers along with many technical equipment and specialized machinery from three enterprises, Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company, Thuan Hai Railway Joint Stock Company, and Nghia Binh Railway Joint Stock Company, were mobilized to the scene to fix the landslide.

Due to the complex terrain, the floodwaters are still there, and the need for excavated soil and rock to build the roadbed is very large, so the construction units have to open a service road from National Highway 19C to the landslide site for dump trucks to transport soil and rock combined with materials and supplies transported by freight trains to both ends of the site.
The construction teams have made great efforts to overcome difficulties, deploying "three shifts, four crews" to dig, fill, and construct around the clock, so that by 11pm on November 10, phase 1 had been completed, ensuring the railway route through km 1136+850 with a speed limit of 5km/h. Phase 2 is being continued, permanently reinforcing the roadbed to ensure long-term transport safety.
