Being the second year of organization, the Youth Rhythm Competition for collective dance groups aims to find talented students, honor the strength of solidarity and creativity of young people. This is not only a useful and healthy playground, helping students to be confident, dynamic, and develop their artistic abilities, but also an opportunity for young people to exchange, learn, share their passion and aspirations.
Thereby, the Contest contributes to promoting the image of a dynamic, creative and integrated Hanoi , while at the same time arousing the love of culture and art among young people.

Speaking at the program, Director of the Hanoi City Cultural Center, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, Ly Thi Thuy Hanh said that the contest is a practical activity to celebrate important events of the Capital and the country. In particular, towards the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital on October 10; welcoming the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , term 2024 - 2029.
Since its official launch, the Competition has attracted enthusiastic participation from high schools, colleges, universities and dance clubs and groups throughout Hanoi.
From a series of registrations, the Organizing Committee has selected 51 qualified teams with nearly 1,000 members to participate in the Preliminary Round of the Competition, promising to bring impressive and colorful performances.
The groups will be divided into 2 groups: one for colleges and universities and one for elementary schools. Each group will dance 1 song with no limit on dance genre, using Vietnamese or foreign music .
The Organizing Committee will award prizes according to the tables. Each table will have 2 First prizes, 3 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 5 Consolation prizes, of which the First prize is worth 10 million VND. In addition, there are also thematic Consolation prizes and grassroots movement Consolation prizes.
The performances in the competition are all carefully invested, clearly shown through every detail in the performances, from preparation to performance costumes.
Each team had to spend time practicing carefully, paying attention to each movement, to ensure synchronization and accuracy in each dance step. Not only that, the costumes were also carefully selected, in accordance with the spirit of the competition, bringing impressive performances, leaving an unforgettable impression on the audience and the judges.
The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags and flowers to the participating teams.
Music, a factor contributing to the success of the performances, is also focused on by the teams. Many teams choose Vietnamese songs with strong national identity, while some teams use modern international melodies.
Each group not only demonstrated professional dancing skills but also brought their own stories and emotions, creating impressive performances, leaving an unforgettable mark on the audience and judges.

Ms. Bui Thi Hang, representative of the Dan Phuong Dance Club team, said that as soon as they received the notice that they had entered the preliminary round, the students in the team were extremely excited and quickly started preparing their performance. Because they were still students, they took advantage of their time outside of school to practice. Today, they gave it their all on stage with a modern dance to the music of Farmer's Dance. Although they were still a little unsatisfied with their performance, the whole team was happy and excited with the enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
After the opening, the Preliminary Round of the Competition will continue to take place on the evenings of October 15 and October 16, 2024 at the Outdoor Stage of the City Cultural Center (Phung Hung, Ha Dong), with many attractive performances, bringing a vibrant atmosphere and interesting artistic experiences to the public of the Capital.
The final ranking night and awards ceremony of the Competition will be held on the evening of October 26, 2024.
