More than 570 million VND to build a rural traffic bridge in Hoa Hung commune

On September 23, the People's Committee of Hoa Hung commune (An Giang province) coordinated with philanthropists to organize a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of two rural traffic bridges in Hoa Phu hamlet, with a total cost of 575 million VND.

Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of bridge 1,200 - Kenh Tam Pho route (Tinh Trang 12 bridge).

Bridge 1,200 - Kenh Tam Pho route (Tinh Trang 12 bridge) is 32m long, 3m wide, 2.5 ton load capacity, total cost 310 million VND. Trang An Toan Transport Company Limited, Can Tho City, through the connection of Ms. Jenny Tieu Kim Oanh, a German overseas Vietnamese, supported 290 million VND, the rest was contributed by the locality and people in terms of cost and construction days.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of October. The bridge connects Xeo Lung hamlet, Hoa Thuan commune and Hoa Phu hamlet, Hoa Hung commune, serving the travel and trade needs of people in the two communes.

The Thuy Loi Canal Bridge is 22m long, 3m wide, and has a load capacity of 2.5 tons, with a total cost of 265 million VND. Of which, the benefactor contributed 235 million VND, the rest was contributed by the locality and people in terms of money and working days.

When completed, the two projects will contribute to improving rural traffic infrastructure, facilitating travel, transporting goods and developing the local economy and society.
