185 million VND to build 3 rural traffic bridges in Khanh Lam commune

On the morning of September 23, Khanh Lam Commune People's Committee coordinated with sponsors to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 3 rural bridges in the commune. Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet, Deputy Head of the Vietnam Buddhist Society Charity Committee in Ca Mau Province; Mr. Pham Van Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of Khanh Lam Commune and many local people.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet, Deputy Head of the Vietnam Buddhist Social Charity Board in Ca Mau province (third from left), performed the groundbreaking ceremony.

Three bridges including Viet Uc 52, 53, 54, were built at Canal 300 connecting Canal 1000 and Canal 31, in Hamlet 11. Each bridge has a width of 2 m, length of 15 m, 18 m and 18 m respectively, reinforced concrete structure. The total cost is more than 185 million VND, sponsored by Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet from Vietnam Foundation (Australia) and Mr. Nguyen Van Hao's family.

Sponsor representatives and local authorities broke ground for bridge construction.

At the ceremony, the people of Hamlet 11 expressed their joy and thanked the local government and sponsors for their support. When completed, the project will help students go to school conveniently, reduce ferry costs, and create conditions for people to travel and transport goods easily, contributing to improving the appearance of the countryside and promoting local socio -economic development.
