Da Nang soon removes obstacles in land use planning for the period 2021 - 2025

DNO - On September 23, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son worked with the Department of Agriculture and Environment regarding the 5-year land use plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and the development of a land use plan for the period 2026 - 2030 of Da Nang city.

The working session focused on assessing the implementation of land use planning and plans; clarifying the reasons for the increase and decrease in land area compared to the land use planning and plans approved by competent authorities; and existing problems and difficulties in the implementation and management of land use planning and plans.

Delegates discussed and assessed the conformity with the allocated national land use targets; proposed land use plans; and prepared the 5-year land use plan for the 2026-2030 period.

Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son assigned the Urban Committee of the City People's Council to issue a document requesting the City People's Committee and the Department of Agriculture and Environment to clarify and propose solutions to existing problems and difficulties in the 5-year land use plan for the period 2021 - 2025 to ensure service for socio- economic development.

At the same time, the City People's Council requested to review and evaluate the implementation of land use plans throughout Da Nang city after the merger and prepare to develop a 5-year land use plan for the period 2026 - 2030, and report to the City People's Council.
