Specifically, for rice, the authorities recommend that farmers quickly harvest the ripe rice area according to the motto "green house is better than old field" to avoid further damage. For vegetables, it is necessary to clear the flow, dredge ditches and drainage ditches in the fields.

For fruit trees and industrial trees, it is necessary to dig trenches, pump out water quickly; saw off broken branches, treat cuts with lime water or copper-based fungicide solution to prevent disease from entering; increase the use of organic fertilizers and foliar fertilizers to help trees recover; lightly hoe the soil at the base to create ventilation. For severely damaged trees such as uprooted trees, broken trunks that are difficult to recover, it is necessary to have a plan to replant with high-quality varieties.

Currently, authorities and local governments are focusing on implementing solutions to overcome the consequences and support people to soon stabilize production after natural disasters.
