More than 800 documents and artifacts on display at the exhibition "Vietnam People's Public Security - 80 years for a peaceful life"

The exhibition “Vietnam People's Public Security - 80 years for a peaceful life” introduces about 500 documents and images reflecting the journey of fighting, building and growing of the People's Public Security force (CAND), along with more than 300 artifacts, weapons, vehicles, and specialized technical equipment being used in work, fighting and protecting security and order.

On the morning of August 5, the opening ceremony of the exhibition "People's Public Security" took place at the Hanoi Museum. Vietnam - 80 years for a peaceful life". The program was held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 / August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 / August 19, 2025).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security affirmed that the exhibition is a practical activity with profound political significance in the series of events leading up to the major holidays of the People's Public Security Forces. Thereby, not only paying tribute to the silent contributions and sacrifices of generations of officers and soldiers, but also contributing to educating traditions, fostering trust, pride and fighting spirit for the next generations; aiming to build a clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security Forces.

The exhibition contents are arranged into 3 major themes, combining propaganda and educational activities for the public, including: "Historical Imprints", "Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia Public Security: Imprints of Cooperation and Development" and "Effective, Effective and Efficient Public Security - For a Peaceful Life".
