- On the morning of October 21, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH,TT&DL) held a meeting of the Organizing Committee and the Contest Judges "Children promote books and Lang Son province's "Book Exhibition" in 2025 to review the situation and unify the contents to prepare for the contest.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial Library (the standing unit of the contest) presented a report assessing the implementation of the contest. Accordingly, the Provincial Library advised the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to issue a plan and regulations for the contest, and decided to establish the Organizing Committee, the Jury, and the Secretariat of the contest. In addition, the Provincial Library also sent documents with information about the contest to 14 communes and wards; coordinated with Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station to widely propagate the purpose, meaning, regulations, and time of the contest. Up to now, 12/14 communes and wards have registered to participate.

In addition, the Provincial Library has set up a Zalo group with communes and related departments to deploy the contest's contents: detailed instructions on how to submit documents, sample list of excerpts, deadlines and technical requirements for illustrative presentation files... Currently, the Provincial Library has received all registration documents and preliminary scripts from the participating teams.

Expected, the contest "Children's book promotion and introduction" in Lang Son province in 2025 will be held on November 13 and 14, 2025 at the Provincial Cultural Center. At the meeting, members of the Organizing Committee and the Jury gave their opinions on the following contents : proposed contents related to the scoring work; award structure; preparation for the summary and award ceremony; names of the thematic awards... Here, representatives of the Jury of the contest also drew lots for the order of the teams participating in the contest.

Concluding the meeting, the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province acknowledged the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of the members of the Organizing Committee and the Jury of the contest, and at the same time requested the Provincial Library to fully absorb the opinions, advise on the issuance of Notice No. 1 of the Organizing Committee and coordinate with relevant units to effectively implement the contents of the contest according to the proposed plan.
