On the afternoon of December 6, 2024, at the Ministry Headquarters, the Ministry of Home Affairs held a Delegation Meeting to participate in the training course on "Public Policy; Digital Government; Leadership in the context of digital transformation and globalization" for young leaders, civil servants, managers and female leaders and managers of local governments at the National Institute for Policy Studies, Japan. Authorized by Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang, Director of the Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees Nguyen Tuan Ninh, Standing Member of the Steering Committee for organizing training courses abroad organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs chaired the Meeting.
Attending the meeting were leaders of the Ministry's Office; Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees; Department of International Cooperation; Department of Organization and Personnel and members of the Delegation participating in the training course in Japan.
At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Pham Hung Thang announced Decision No. 827/QD-BNV dated November 25, 2024 of the Minister of Home Affairs on establishing a delegation for training at the National Institute for Policy Studies, Japan. According to the Decision, Ms. Le Thi Song An, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Long An province, will be the Head of the delegation.
Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Pham Hung Thang announced the Decision to establish the Delegation of the Minister of Home Affairs.
Director of the Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees, Ministry of Home Affairs Nguyen Tuan Ninh said that from 2022 to present, the Ministry of Home Affairs has successfully organized 12 training courses abroad for a total of 179 young leaders, civil servants and managers and female leaders and managers of local governments; young civil servants and leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, of which 05 courses were held at Hiroshima University and the National Institute for Policy Studies, Japan.
Director Nguyen Tuan Ninh emphasized that the training course theme is "Public policy; Digital government; Leadership in the context of digital transformation and globalization", with a training period of 10 days, from December 9 to 18, 2024, combining theoretical lessons, classroom exchanges and field trips to central and local agencies. The training course is organized to study and learn from experiences in the model of organization, management and administration of local governments in Japan.
This will be an opportunity to help cadres and civil servants improve their policy-making capacity, leadership and direction skills for young cadres and civil servants, female cadres and civil servants of local governments to meet the requirements in the context of digital transformation and globalization. Applying knowledge and skills from training courses into practical work contributes to improving the quality and effectiveness of management and operation.
Head of the Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees Nguyen Tuan Ninh requested the Delegation and its members to strictly implement and comply with the Regulations of the Ministry of Home Affairs and legal provisions on training and fostering cadres and civil servants abroad.
Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Van Minh, Deputy Head of the delegation, spoke at the meeting.
At the Meeting, the members of the Delegation listened to representatives of the leaders of the functional units of the Ministry of Home Affairs disseminate and answer information related to the training program in Japan, the notes and responsibilities of members when participating in the Training course and the cooperative relationship between the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam and Japanese partners.
Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Home Affairs Chu Tuan Tu disseminates and notes some contents when participating in training and education abroad.
Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees Nguyen Xuan Dung disseminated some regulations, contents and information related to the training course.
