Meeting to celebrate 42 years of Vietnamese Teachers' Day

DTO - On November 19, Dong Thap Community College (CĐCĐ) held a meeting to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2024). Attending were leaders, former leaders of the school through the periods, leaders of departments, faculties, centers, lecturers, officials, school staff and more than 250 outstanding students studying at the school.

Speaking at the 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day, Dr. Pham Quang Huy - Party Secretary, Principal of Dong Thap Community College emphasized that on November 20, 1982, the first Vietnam Teachers' Day celebration was solemnly held nationwide. Since then, Vietnam Teachers' Day has become a traditional day of the Vietnamese education sector, an occasion to honor and express gratitude for the contributions of generations of teachers to the cause of education . Promoting the tradition of previous generations of teachers, over the years, the school's leadership, lecturers, staff and workers have always strived to overcome difficulties and strive to excellently complete their tasks every school year.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, Dr. Pham Quang Huy sent his best wishes to the school's leadership, former leaders of all periods, lecturers, staff, and employees, and wished that teachers would continue to inspire creativity in students; proactively apply information technology, innovate teaching and learning methods, contribute to improving the quality of education and building Dong Thap Community College to develop more and more. At the same time, he reminded students to proactively acquire knowledge, have a positive attitude in life, study, and develop skills to study well.

Students receive scholarships for community development at the meeting

On this occasion, Dong Thap Community College awarded 113 scholarships for community development, phase 1, school year 2024 - 2025, to students with excellent academic achievements (VND 2 million/scholarship); rewarded many collectives and individuals with high achievements in the school's Sports Festival to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day and the Contest "Designing an English video clip introducing Dong Thap Community College".
