Mr. Le Hoang Chau, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association (HoREA), signed an official dispatch sent to the Prime Minister and the Governor of the State Bank.
The content of the dispatch is to request the Prime Minister to consider directing the State Bank and the State Treasury to request commercial banks and the State Treasury to still work on Saturday and Sunday this week (December 30 and 31).
The above is to help businesses with transaction needs have one more trading day and centrally-run cities and provinces have two more days to disburse public investment capital.
Along with the above recommendation, HoREA also proposed that cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers who have to work overtime will be given compensatory leave.

According to the dispatch, HoREA welcomes commercial banks to conduct transactions until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29. However, December 31 is the last day of the accounting year, the planning year, so many businesses need to conduct credit transactions to strive to complete their revenue plans and signed economic contracts.
In addition, localities also need to disburse public investment capital for 2023. However, because December 30 and 31 fall on Saturday and Sunday, there are problems.
