Implementing the Provincial Police's Plan on the peak period of 50 days and nights to issue chip-embedded citizen identification cards (CCCD) for citizens inside and outside the province (from May 20 to July 10, 2023), Bao Thang District Police is determined to complete it in 40 days, 10 days shorter than required.
Specifically, the plan to issue CCCD cards to people residing in Bao Thang district starts from May 20 to July 10, 2023, but Bao Thang district police strive to shorten the completion time before June 30, 2023.
After 5 days of implementing the plan, Bao Thang District Police have received 362 new CCCD applications and 571 applications for electronic identification accounts with integrated documents. Up to now, Bao Thang District Police have received 85,621 applications out of a total of 89,855 applications eligible for new CCCD, reaching a rate of 95.29%; received 33/89.8 thousand applications for electronic identification accounts, reaching approximately 37% of the number of people eligible for issuance.
As of May 25, Bao Thang District Police Department has received ID card applications from 100% of eligible citizens in Son Hai and Ban Phiet communes.
To ensure the plan, in addition to propaganda, mobilization and persuasion, Bao Thang District Police also arranged staff to support at home cases of elderly, disabled, sick citizens who have difficulty traveling to the place to receive documents and complete procedures for issuing CCCD. In addition, Bao Thang District Police also closely coordinated with communes and towns in reviewing, keeping lists and mobilizing families to inform relatives who are citizens working far away to come to the police station where they reside to submit applications for CCCD.
