In order to promote and preserve the value of cultural heritage, in recent years, Dien Bien and Dien Bien Dong districts have opened training courses on preserving and promoting traditional costumes of some ethnic minorities in the area. In particular, they focus on opening classes to teach methods, skills, and decoration processes on traditional costumes of Lao people. Along with that, it is necessary to strengthen trade promotion, promote, develop brands and expand the consumption market for products from Lao ethnic brocade weaving. Products such as dresses, shirts, handbags, scarves, etc. are displayed, introduced and sold at exhibition fairs and have been put on e-commerce platforms and social networks for many people to know. The locality has organized competitions on making costumes, embroidering and weaving brocade patterns, and performing Lao costumes to introduce the beauty, value of traditional costumes, and the unique cultural identity of Lao people.
