On the afternoon of June 7, Ha Trung district organized a meeting with press agencies to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024). Attending the meeting were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, the Provincial Journalists Association; leaders and reporters of the provincial press agencies, representative offices, and resident reporters of central press agencies in Thanh Hoa .

In a friendly atmosphere, Vice Chairman of Ha Trung District People's Committee Hoang Van Long gave an overview of the socio -economic development, national defense and security situation of the district in the first 5 months of the year, and key tasks for the last months of 2024.
Implementing the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and the Resolution of the 22nd District Party Congress, the District Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Ha Trung district have focused on building and perfecting institutions, issuing many resolutions, programs and action plans to specify goals, tasks, key programs and effectively organize the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security, building a clean and strong Party and political system.

In the first 5 months of 2024, the socio-economic, defense and security situation of the district achieved many outstanding results. 12/25 indicators with evaluation data all reached 60% of the plan or more (of which 2 indicators were completed).
The district has completed the contents and criteria for new rural construction (NTM), and has been recognized by the Provincial and Central People's Committees as meeting NTM standards in 2023; Ha Binh commune has been recognized as an advanced NTM commune; Ha Son commune has been recognized as a model NTM commune.
Agricultural production has developed quite comprehensively, without major epidemics in crops and livestock. Enterprises in the area continue to produce stably and develop. Export value is estimated at 84 million USD, up 0.4% over the same period. State budget revenue is estimated at 60.4% of the provincial estimate. PMB serving works and projects reached 95.2% of the plan.

Representatives of press agencies hope that Ha Trung district will continue to create favorable conditions for reporters to access information, promptly reflect on issues occurring in the district and pay attention to resolving and handling well the content that the press has reflected.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Pham Van Tuan acknowledged that the press agencies have comprehensively and promptly reflected the political, socio-economic activities and major work programs of Ha Trung district in the past time. Thereby, encouraging cadres and people in the district to actively implement the goals and tasks set out in the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels.
The Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department suggested that the leaders of Ha Trung district continue to coordinate well with press agencies in the coming time to further promote the potential and strengths of the locality.
Along with focusing on propagating the contents of site clearance, new rural construction, spiritual tourism development, festivals associated with historical and cultural relics, press agencies accompany, share, promptly inform about arising issues, shortcomings, limitations and propose solutions so that the District Party Committee, People's Committee and agencies of Ha Trung district can promptly take remedial measures.

On the occasion of the upcoming Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day June 21, on behalf of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the district, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Trung district Nguyen Ngoc Thuc sent congratulations to journalists and press agencies; at the same time, sincerely thanked the press agencies, reporters, and journalists who have accompanied the district in the past time.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Trung district also discussed and clarified some contents reported by reporters of press agencies and hoped that in the coming time, press agencies will continue to closely coordinate with the district to promptly, extensively and qualitatively propagate the major tasks that the district has been implementing, contributing to the development of Ha Trung.
