During the “National Security Protection Day” in Vu Bon commune, people handed over 1 compressed air gun and 3 flintlock guns; bringing the total number of weapons, explosives and support tools recovered by Vu Bon commune police to 36 guns of various types.

Since the beginning of the year, the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building a Movement for the Whole People to Protect National Security in Vu Bon Commune has coordinated to organize 2 launching sessions of the movement "The Whole People Protect National Security" in Doan Ket Village and Village 12; participated with the Mass Mobilization Bloc of the Commune Party Committee to mobilize the masses in 3 ethnic minority villages on the spot.

The People's Committee of Krong Pac district also presented certificates of merit to 3 collectives and 7 individuals of Vu Bon commune with outstanding achievements in the movement "All people protect national security".

In order to show affection and responsibility towards Martyr Nguyen Dinh Long, a police officer of Vu Bon commune who died while on duty in 2008, Krong Pac District Police gave gifts to the family and scholarships worth 10 million VND to the two children of Martyr Nguyen Dinh Long. The District Police Women's Association has supported the care and upbringing of the two children since 2011 with an amount of 5 million VND/year and regularly visits and gives gifts of encouragement on holidays and Tet.
