Phu Giao district surveys and evaluates OCOP products, phase 1, 2025

(BDO) On April 23, Phu Giao district conducted a field survey at production and business establishments in the area to serve the work of evaluating and classifying products participating in the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) Program, phase 1, 2025. The activity is part of the roadmap for implementing the district-level OCOP program, ensuring proper procedures, transparency and accuracy.

The survey team, including members of the Council and the Working Group of the District OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council, visited 6 units: Thanh Kien Guava Cooperative (Phuoc Hoa commune) with fresh guava products; An Gia Facility (An Long commune) with lingzhi mushroom products; Yen Duyen Facility (An Thai commune) with bird's nest products; Vinamit Organic Farm (Phuoc Sang commune) with leafy vegetable products; Kim Long High-Tech Agricultural Cooperative with melon products and Phu An Khuong Production Facility with alcoholic beverage products (An Binh commune).

The survey focused on assessing the current status of facilities, production processes and technologies, the ability to meet food hygiene and safety standards, as well as the transparency and completeness of product records. In addition, sample products were also tested for quality according to the criteria of the OCOP program.

The purpose of the survey is to grasp the actual situation, evaluate the production conditions and quality of products registered to participate in the program. At the same time, the survey results are the basis for organizing the first meeting of the OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council in 2025 of Phu Giao district.
