Tri Ton district organizes many activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation Day

On the evening of April 30, at Thai Quoc Hung Square, the Center for Culture - Sports - Tourism and Broadcasting of Tri Ton district organized an art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

With the theme “The Country is Full of Joy”, the audience enjoyed many singing, dancing, and traditional music performances by the An Giang Provincial Cultural and Artistic Center. The content praised the Party; love for the homeland, country, and Vietnamese people; the tradition of solidarity in the struggle to build and defend the country. In particular, Tri Ton residents also had the opportunity to watch a comedy performance by the group Doi Cuoi, from Ho Chi Minh City.

On the same day, the District Culture - Sports - Tourism and Broadcasting Center organized many sports activities, such as: Football exchange between former Tri Ton district players and former Bac Lieu province players; stick pushing and tug of war competitions. The teams participated with a spirit of solidarity and high effort, creating an exciting and vibrant atmosphere. The Organizing Committee awarded first, second and third prizes to athletes with outstanding achievements.
