After more than 2 years of implementing the Resolution of the 3rd District Party Congress, with the spirit of solidarity, determination and consensus of the entire political system and people of all walks of life, Thuan Nam district has completed and exceeded 10/15 targets set by the congress, 3 targets reaching over 75%, 2 targets reaching from 70 to 75%.

Economic growth is maintained, some areas have developed quite well. Total investment capital for socio-economic development in 2021 and 2022 is more than 15,300 billion VND, reaching 71.44%; total budget revenue is 180 billion VND, reaching 65% of the set plan. The poverty rate decreased from 10.22% at the end of 2021 to 8.22% at the end of 2022, exceeding the target set by the congress resolution; the average rate of trained workers is 32.4% per year. By the end of 2022, the whole district has 14/27 general schools meeting national standards; 6/8 communes meeting new rural standards. Health, education, and social security are implemented effectively, national defense and security are ensured.
The work of building the Party and the political system has achieved many positive changes. In 2 years, the district has admitted 121 new party members, reaching 48.5% of the plan. Every year, 80% of grassroots party organizations complete their tasks well; 80% of party members complete their tasks well or better.
Speaking at the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee commended the results achieved by the Thuan Nam District Party Committee in the first half of the 2020-2025 term. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that Thuan Nam District needs to fully identify its potential, advantages, strengths, difficulties, and obstacles to take steps to shape and adjust the goals and resolution programs accordingly, thereby taking into account the review of targets to set appropriate goals and build aspirations to rise up. Focus on directing the comprehensive innovation of the Party's leadership methods through 5 specific methods including: Leadership by policies and resolutions; propaganda and mobilization work for the people; organizational work, personnel work; leadership through inspection and supervision; implementing well the role model of cadres and party members to ensure that leadership takes place smoothly and effectively. Along with that, the Party Committee needs to focus on administrative reform, pay attention to innovating working methods and styles. At the same time, pay attention to Party building and the political system, actively contributing to the cause of innovation and development of the province.

In the coming time, the Office Party Committee will focus on promoting political and ideological education for Party members, civil servants and workers; promoting the spirit of solidarity and unity in action to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws. Continuing to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with implementing the 4th Central Resolution on strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, morality and lifestyle, and combating the manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party Committee. Striving to build the Party Committee to excellently fulfill its assigned political tasks.
