Hyundai has released the first teaser of the Ioniq 6 N, confirming that the high-performance electric sedan is preparing for its global debut. The car will officially debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking place in July, where the spectacular debut of the Ioniq 5 N was also held. From the leaked images, the Ioniq 6 N stands out with a large fixed rear wing, flared wheel arches, a lowered chassis, and aerodynamic front and rear bumpers. This style is reminiscent of the RN22e concept, and affirms the true “N” sporty orientation.
Inside the cabin, Hyundai will add unique details such as sports seats, a three-spoke N steering wheel, a customizable racing-style screen, and track-day support software tweaks similar to its crossover sibling, the Ioniq 5 N. Under the hood, Hyundai is expected to equip a dual-motor AWD drivetrain, using a large 84 kWh battery, equivalent to the Ioniq 5 N.
Total system output is estimated at over 650 horsepower, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. High-performance suspension and brakes, along with engine and transmission sound simulation mode (N e-Shift) are likely to be retained. As planned, the Ioniq 6 N will start selling from 2026, targeting markets such as the US, Europe and Australia, competing directly with the Tesla Model 3 Performance, Polestar 2 BST and BMW i4 M50.
With the Ioniq 6 N, Hyundai not only extends its line of high-performance “N” badged models into the electric era, but also asserts its position in the EV sports sedan segment. Bold design, exclusive technology and impressive performance will make the Ioniq 6 N a “speed streamliner” worth waiting for. Video : Preview of the all-new Hyundai Ioniq 6.
