South Korea's Hyundai Motors Co. said on May 18 that it will launch the upgraded G70 and G70 Shooting Brake models in the domestic market.
Starting May 19, the G70 sedan will be launched on the market, using a 2.5L turbocharged gasoline engine or a 3.3L turbocharged gasoline engine, while the G70 Shooting Brake model is equipped with a 2.5L turbocharged gasoline engine.
The G70 Shooting Brake, a sports car, is the first strategic model under Hyundai's independent Genesis brand for the European market.
The G70 2.5L, G70 3.3L and G70 Shooting Brake models are priced at 43 million won ($32,000), 48 million won ($35,000) and 45 million won ($33,000), respectively.
Hyundai launched the Genesis brand in 2015 in its domestic market and has released Genesis models in the United States, Canada, Russia, the Middle East and Australia. The Genesis lineup includes the G70, G80 and G90 sedans, as well as the GV70 and GV80 SUVs.
