Intel has just officially announced important changes in branding for personal processors. Starting with the Meteor Lake processor generation, consumers will see the appearance of two new Intel® Core™ Ultra and Intel® Core™ brands.
Introducing the Intel Core Ultra processor brand for the highest-end consumer products. Simplifying the Intel Core processor brand for mainstream products.
Enhances the Intel Evo™ Edition brand platform for Evo-certified designs. Introduces the Intel vPro® Enterprise and Intel vPro® Essentials device labels for business systems.
“The personal product roadmap reflects Intel’s focus on innovation and technology leadership with products like Meteor Lake that will enable hybrid x86 architecture and AI performance at scale,” said Caitlin Anderson, vice president and general manager of the Personal Computing Group (CCG). “To align with our product strategy, we are announcing a new branding structure that will help customers easily differentiate our latest technologies from our mainstream products when shopping for a computer.”
The new brand architecture is designed to define the future of Intel’s end-user technology roadmap. The changes are designed to make it easier for consumers to find the right solutions from Intel’s industry-leading partner ecosystem. The change also highlights the prominence of Intel Core, which has been a trusted brand for nearly 20 years.
