The mixed martial arts tournament "Dragon Fight League" (DFL) has just been officially announced and will conduct qualifying competitions to select fighters to participate in the main round from August 2023.
With the theme "Rise of the Dragons", the first season of DFL promises to bring fierce, dramatic competitions, promoting the spirit of martial arts.
Fighters perform on the hexagonal ring
Through the preliminary rounds, the Organizing Committee will select the 40 boxers with the best results to enter the quarter-finals of the five weight classes of 55 kg, 57 kg, 60 kg, 64 kg and 69 kg. The boxers will compete in the title competition format through the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals to find the owner of the prestigious championship belt in each weight class.
Ring girls in national costumes
All male boxers from 18 to 42 years old, who are Vietnamese citizens, can register to participate in the tournament's selection round from June 6 to 16.
Boxers who participate in the quarter-finals will receive 4 million VND, and if they win, they will receive 6 million VND. In the semi-finals, the winner will receive 12 million VND, and the loser will receive 8 million VND. In the finals, the winner will receive 24 million VND and the championship belt, and the loser will receive 16 million VND.
