Jordan Henderson leaves Ajax

The 35-year-old midfielder joined Ajax in January 2024 after terminating his contract with Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia. After nearly two seasons with Ajax, the former Liverpool captain made 57 appearances, scored one goal and left many marks in the dressing room.

Saying goodbye to Ajax, Henderson said emotionally: "I am grateful to Ajax for giving me the opportunity to play for this great club. The greatest honor in a player's life is to wear the captain's armband. My only regret is that I could not bring more titles to the fans who deserved to celebrate.
