School opening and reopening plans for students in 63 provinces and cities

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued a timetable framework for the 2023-2024 school year for preschool education, general education and continuing education applied nationwide.

Accordingly, the earliest school start date is 1 week before the opening day. For grade 1, the earliest school start date is 2 weeks before the opening day. The opening day is September 5, 2023.

End semester I before January 15, 2024, complete semester II education plan before May 25, 2024 and end the school year before May 31, 2024.

Consider recognition of completion of primary school program and consider recognition of graduation from secondary school before June 30, 2024. Complete enrollment of first grade classes before July 31, 2024.

After the Ministry of Education and Training issued the school year plan, the provinces simultaneously issued the school opening date and schedule.
