During the past school year, the Academy organized training for subjects to ensure correct and sufficient content, programs, and objectives; actively and proactively implemented the Project "Innovation of training processes and programs for officers at all levels in the Army to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation". The Academy has developed, reviewed, adjusted, and supplemented training programs; ensured adequate, timely, and quality weapons, equipment, and supplies to serve education and training and other tasks; organized high-quality final-course internships for students, including successfully completing final-course exercises for students with a new scale and form, close to actual combat.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh acknowledged and praised the achievements of the officers, lecturers, students, workers and soldiers of the Air Defense - Air Force Academy in the past time. In the coming time, the Deputy Minister of National Defense requested the Air Defense - Air Force Academy to actively innovate the content, training programs, teaching and learning methods suitable for the subjects and levels of education; promptly adjust and supplement knowledge content in accordance with the development of modern military art and new weapons and technical equipment systems. In particular, the Academy needs to build a team of officers and lecturers in the direction of standardization. This is one of the factors that determine the quality of training of air defense and air force officers.

In the new school year, the Academy needs to continue to do a good job in selecting and training a team of cadres and lecturers with strong political will, pure moral qualities, high sense of responsibility, exemplary lifestyle, worthy of being an example for students to follow. Focus on training and improving the professional qualifications, skills, comprehensive knowledge and advanced pedagogical methods for the teaching staff, combining the use of experienced teachers with the discovery and training of young cadres and lecturers.
